Sandwich Artisans is pleased to announce their 2019 Fine Arts & Crafts show schedule.  These juried shows are held on the lawn of the Sandwich Public Library, 142 Main St., Sandwich, MA from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm.  The dates are May 11, May 25, June 1, July 6, August 3, August 31, September 21, and October 12.

The shows feature fine art, jewelry, pottery, glass work, photographs, hand-crafted clothing, home accessories, wooden items, and much more made by local artisans! All artisan fees are donated to the Sandwich Public Library to benefit youth art programs.

The Bayberry Quilt Guild welcomes you to their Annual Quilt Show -- new air-conditioned location this year at the Resort and Conference Center in Hyannis!  This year's theme is "By The Sea" with a special group of challenge quilts that illustrate things that rhyme with "sea".  

Exhibits include new and vintage quilts and a special exhibit by featured quilter Robin Maguire.  There are vendors with a wide variety of fabrics, jewelry and craft items for sale and special activities for kids and others interested in quilts and textile arts, along with demonstrations by guild members and vendors throughout the show.  A quilt raffle raises funds for Cape Cod students scholarships and toolships.

15th Annual Provincetown Jazz Festival

Henry Acker opens the concert and is a fourteen-year-old gypsy jazz guitarist in the style of Django Reinhardt and with abilities far beyond his years. After playing for only five years, he has already shared the stage with jazz greats Bucky Pizzarelli, Frank Vignola, Julian Lage and Andreas Oberg as well as Gypsy Jazz legends Samson Schmitt, Mozes Rosenberg, Adrien Moignard, Joscho Stephane, Olli Soikkeli, Gonzalo Bergara, and Jason Anick.

Jessica Curran is a jazz-pop vocalist, composer, arranger and lyricist. Jessica is a graduate of the University of North Texas and the Royal College of Music in Stockholm. Jessica has shared the stage with Bobby McFerrin and some of her most notable venues include Stockholm's Concert Hall, Bass Performance Hall in Fort Worth (TX), Andy's Jazz Club in Chicago, and Scullers Jazz Club in Boston.

Jessica will be accompanied by Fabiano de Castro from Brazil on piano, Ron Ormsby on bass, and Bart Weisman on drums.

We are a production brewery so one tour a day is all we can handle in terms of interrupting our warehouse space.  If you miss the tour for the day feel free to come by for a TASTING anyway!

$5 includes five 3oz samples and logo tasting glass to take home as a souvenir!

Cape Cod Hydrangea Festival

For the fifth year, gardeners across Cape Cod will ring in the summer season with the Fifth Annual Cape Cod Hydrangea Festival, happening July 12-21, 2019. Not just a celebration for the region’s signature bloom, the genus hydrangea, this event encompasses plants of all kinds.

The main attraction across the 10-day festival are tours of local gardens, usually kept off-limits and only maintained by individual homeowners throughout the year. Tours of these unique private spaces are $5 per person per garden, and every garden is paired with a benefiting nonprofit organization which receives 100% of the proceeds.
